Key skills:
Doing a verity of paper work e.g. daily planner , observations , reports and tracking these are all to help the children and their development. I also wrote out things like: accident/incident reports (also for home accident), outing forms, daily feedback charts and children’s communication books.
Planning and doing activities with the children using at least 1 of the early years foundation stage areas.
Preparing and cooking meals for the children.
Helping to feed the children safely.
Working in all rooms from 3 months- 5 years able to work as covering staff.
Administrating medicine safely with a witness.
Taking the children out on trips and outings safely and doing the risk assessments before hand.
Changing children’s nappies and clothing.
Strictly following safeguarding regulations.
Working with children with specialist needs and requirements.
