Hello prospective parents and thank you for your interest in my profile. My name is Jill and I am a thirty five year old mother to two wonderful school-age children.

I have a 15 year background as a Health and Childcare professional. Having worked in the NHS since 2001 as a Specialist Midwife I took on the role of Maternity Nurse and Nanny in 2013 for an amazing family with their first child. Now their son is heading off to nursery 3 full days a week I am sadly no longer required as a full time nanny and it is time for me to move on to a new adventure. My time spent with the family has been amazing and I feel that we will remain firm friends for life.

My key role was to provide a stable loving environment for their son to grow and develop. I would take care of all the necessary nursery duties including laundry, stocking of provisions, shopping, cooking, etc. We filled our days with games and adventure' swing parks and swimming pools! Attending toddler groups to socialise with other children and attending local crafts sessions and french lessons was also a firm favourite. From rainy welly puddle jumping days to sunhat picnic on beach days, we were never at a loss for ideas to spend our days making the most of whatever the weather threw at us! Education was another aspect of my role which I absolutely love...teaching a child being to recognise colours, copy sounds or count to ten is an amazing feeling. Being there for all the milestones is an honour and privilege...their first crawl, their first word, their first taste of yogurt!

Ideally I am not only looking for a new nanny role, but also to build a lasting relationship with a family for years to come. I am flexible in my approach and will always try to accommodate individual family needs. A live out position is a must and I do not wish to commit to position requiring weekends (although the occasional weekend working could be agreed). My preferred hours would be weekdays between 8am and 3pm; however later finishing time up to 6pm could be accommodated. Additional babysitting hours on an as and when basis.
