Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Sarah Hill. I’m 17 years old and currently working with the National Trust in Bury St Edmunds as a Catering Assistant, however was drawn in by your job opportunity and just couldn’t miss it!

I am very passionate about providing great customer service, and I always appear approachable due to the big smile on my face. I have been told I am very easy to talk to, and a day doesn’t go by where I’m not trying my hardest to be positive and work out how to make the best of every situation. I’m a rapid learner with excellent communication skills and tend to get along with everyone. This, therefore, means I work brilliantly in a team.

My hobbies and interests involve reading, writing, running and yoga. I spend a good part of my day caring for my sister who is not mentally well, and have cared for my cousins baby many times. I thought this job would suit me so well, as I love children! I also adore animals and love to spend time outdoors in nature. I’m a very studious and self-disciplined person, but still enjoy spending time with family and friends - there’s always time for a good laugh!

The reason I’d like to work for you is because not only will I be a well respected and trusted service, but it prioritise on brilliant customer service, which I am extremely passionate about and have a great experience from working in the catering department. Working for you will also give me great experience and will undoubtedly set my career off to a wonderful start!

As I have completely finished education, I am always free for work, meaning I would be perfect for a full-time roll. I can work any time you need me to.
