Kelly, nanny in Westwood heath CV4

Hi. Mu name is Kelly and have been a qualified nanny for 22 years however my childcare course started in the family home. I'm the eldest of 6 children. It was inevitable that I would work with children as an adult.
I have been blessed with some wonderful families during this time. A job in America with 7 children and a here in the UK a position with newborn triplets. I am still in contact with all of these children because we built a good respectful relationship between the parents, children and myself.
As a vocation I provide safety, care and development. Safety always comes first even when you are in the position of teaching children independence. Care for self and others is a vital part of a childs early years. Without it school can be a daunting place but with confidence and social experience it doesn't need to be all that bad. Development is something that never stops. Children are always learning from every experience you can provide. It could be from sitting down and playing by themselves or taking them to the super market to help with getting things for dinner, and everything in between. Once they are at school this doesn't stop and I have mastered the structure of after school hours to enable homework to be done in a fun positive way that works alongside all that the school is doing with your child/ren.
I believe I am a firm but fair childcare provider. Children always know where they stand with me.
I have a BTEC national Diploma in Early Childhood studies and have begun looking into taking this further into a degree. I hold a first aid certificate and clean, full driving licence.
I do not smoke.
