Hello,
I have a wide range of experience with children aged 1-11. I’m currently looking after 2 year old boy/girl twins, where I have been for just over a year. Unfortunately my hours are changing so I am now looking for possibly something that fits in with them 2/3 days a week. But I am very open to looking for a new Full Time position. I also look after my 3 month old niece, once a week.
I have previously been a nanny and Au Pair, as well as working in a nursery, reception class and an after school club.
I have a Level 3 Diploma in the Children and Young People's Workforce, Level 3 Safeguarding and I've also done a few short courses in First Aid Essentials, Promoting Positive Behaviour and Improving child's learning through play. I have a recent DBS (January 2016).
I am committed to providing a safe, nurturing environment for the children in my care. Taking care of young children is rewarding but sometimes challenging. I have a very calm manner which helps a huge amount.
I am in favour of a structured day as it gives children an opportunity to follow a schedule and to learn and understand discipline. I also love to organise a different activity/outing each day to keep the child stimulated.
I love working alongside the parents to ensure the children's best interests and well-being are the main focus. As well as becoming part of the family and being someone the parents can rely on.
I'm very reliable and I'm always happy to work extra hours/babysit. I can send you my CV if you would like to see my experience in more detail.
I look forward to hearing from you.
