Hello! My name is John Christian and I'm 19 years old (turning 20 in July). I'm from Norway, but I've been living in England since January. I'm currently trying to gain a proper foothold , finding work that I'm genuinely passionate about, and It's always a disappointment that most childcare positions require a kind of professional qualification. I aspire to become a teacher, following in my mother and her parents' footsteps, and this has been my dream since I was 12. I am a gentle and kind-hearted person who loves the company of children. I know how to communicate with children, probably because I've never let myself forget what it's like to be young and curious about everything; but I also know when to draw lines for bad behaviour. I am creative and solution-oriented and can easily come up with activities to stimulate the children. I ran a short course in self-defense for primary school children back in Norway, and I've volunteered as a teaching assistant and child supervisor on several occasions. What I don't have in professional qualifications I make up for in passion, natural abilities to interact with children, and a sincere friendliness that doesn't make this kind of work 'business', but a delight. For anyone who sees this, please consider contacting me as I would be overjoyed to help you and your children with all my heart.
