Hi!
I am a 20 year old kind and cheerful girl from Sweden, who came to England in November 2013 to work as an Au Pair. I had never been to England before and I was meeting a family which I had only seen on my computer twice, and I was going to look after their two boys aged 3 and 6 years old at the time. I was in charge of making them breakfast in the morning, making sure they were dressed for school or nursery, driving them to and from school and nursery, some light cleaning, laundry for the boys, ironing when necessary, making sure their rooms and also bathroom were tidy, driving them to appointments and clubs, helping them with homework, making them dinner and also putting them to bed when necessary. I was also looking after the youngest boy 3 times a week and the rest of the week he was going to nursery. We developed such a great relationship and shared some great moments together, as well as having a large amount of fun along the way! Something I really enjoyed was watching him develop in his speech. When I first came to the family he had some difficulty in his speech, and struggled with particular words. I felt lucky and special to be able to help him in this area, and incredibly rewarding when I saw huge progress in his speech.
This was an amazing experience for me and I have really grown and developed as a person in so many ways! I ended up staying and working for this family for 15 months and I developed a great relationship with both the parents, as well as the children and I am still in contact with them today. In February this year I moved to my own flat here in Worcester and I am now looking to continue working with children.
I am a very tidy, organized, reliable and honest person with huge amounts of energy. I have a variety of hobbies and interests which I enjoy when I am not working. I hugely enjoy travelling and when I was 15 I was lucky enough to travel around Europe with my father on the back of his motorbike, and this was something that I loved.
I also enjoy meeting up with friends, going for walks or a swim. I have a keen interest for baking and cooking, and I have a love for animals, particularly dogs and cats. My time in England has given me the opportunity to meet a variety of new people, so meeting new people is something which I now also embrace.
I have a full clean driving license from September 2013, and a DBS check which is on it's way.
If you think that I am a good fit for your family, please get in touch.
Looking forward to hear from you!
