I feel that i have a wide range of qualities that enables me to successfully work with young children. From working in different child care settings through voluntary work, college placements and being employed at a setting i have been able to demonstrate competently that i am capable of communicating effectively with children, colleagues and parents and i am able to give advice and support to parents. From being able to communicate effectively i have developed good working relationships with parents. From working with different aged children from 0 - 8 years in a variety of different settings that have included day nurseries, primary schools, creches and playgroups i have been able to demonstrate that i am a kind, caring, affectionate person and i have a loving personality towards children. I have a good knowledge of childrens development, learning and individual needs and a good understanding of the elements, principles and areas of the EYFS Foundation Stage Framework to support childrens learning and developmental needs. I am also patient, able to use own initiative effectively, have good time keeping, reliable, trustworthy, thoughtful, , motivated and i am a hardworking person. I also like to bring new ideas to a setting to share.
