My name is Carol. I am 55 years old and live in Litherland L21. I recently worked as a play worker for a year and have been in nursery settings for 9 years as a Nursery nurse. I am qualified to Level 3 diploma for Children and Young Peoples Workforce, (which covers all ages). I also have a Level 2 in Early Years and Education. I have brought up my own children and can draw on my experiences as a mother. I have undertaken lots of training throughout my time in the nursery. I feel I now need a change in employment, but I still want to work with children in other ways. I have an enhanced DBS/CRB. I feel I can use my training, qualifications and experiences to help a family with young children. I have worked in the baby room and with two to three years old (toddler room). I also have experience in the foundation stage (3/4 years old), as part of my role was to do staff cover. I am reliable and trustworthy, kind, caring, empathetic, sensitive and can understand children's needs. I love working with children and helping them reach their milestones and development. I love seeing them develop their personalities and their imaginations. It gives me great satisfaction knowing I have helped in their development. I love doing crafts, singing, reading stories, cooking and a variety of other activities with children. I can be available for work now, if this is what you wish. I can provide references and have older children. So, being available anytime will not be a problem.
