My name is Eileen, I am 53 years old and live in Blundellsands.

I have had four children who are now 33, 24, 21 and 18. All of my children have left home and two of them have obtained degrees and one is in the process of applying.

I am a very caring and I am passionate about all aspects of care work person and most of my experienced is based around this sector as I have a genuine desire to help people. I would like the opportunity to work in a Care Assistant, Home Carer’s or Trainee Nursery Nurse Role as I enjoy making a difference to people’s lives. I possess an excellent friendly and caring approach as well as retaining the ability to relate to people on all levels. I have experience of administering medications as well as storing all medicine items at the correct temperature to retain its effectiveness. I enjoyed all my time in this sector gaining valuable experience and undertaking extensive training to gain an excellent understanding of standards required to ensure I provide the best level of healthcare possible. I am very flexible in my approach to work. I possess an excellent record level of timekeeping and attendance.

I have worked in play groups over the years and am currently volunteering in a kindergarten where my main duties include, taking part in day to day accurate record keeping and providing a safe and creative environment for play activities. My roles were to assist children during meal times, To put the children to sleep at nap times, to ensure children play appropriately and learn to share, assist children with reading and recognition of colours, shapes, numbers and letters, to clean up after meal times, nap times and at the end of the day and to be a respectable role model.
