Hi, my name is Kelly , i am looking to become a full time nanny/carer.
Child care for me is not just watching over your children, its letting them enhance there skills ready for there life ahead. I feel each child has there individual PIES needs, which need to be met at all times. I enjoy spending the time to encourage and guide children correctly. Its important for me to follow instruction of the parents and keep them in control of how they would raise there children, this also includes feeding back to parents on how there children are progressing . I have experience in looking after children from newborn to teenagers, the youngest being 12 weeks old the oldest being 13 years old. i like to learn and play in a fun way, one of the best activities i like to play is 'act it out' to cut a long story short the children have so many sweets and there are many scenarios where they have to share them out equally, this gives them the skill to share and also the maths skills involved, of course they get to eat the sweets at the end as a reward.
The Qualification most suited to this particular care would be my Level 3 health and social care extended diploma, where i received Merit, Merit, Distinction, This involves Basic Pediatric first aid and the ability to look after children, by far my favorite unit out of the 2 year course.
