Alex, nanny in Liverpool

Hi I my name is Alex , I currently live on the wirral but often travel around the country Nannying and attending childcare exhibitions and conferences such as a recent seminar on breastfeeding. I have a level 3 NVQ in childcare and development of which I decided to undertake to develop my knowledge and experience after being involved in childcare for many years even at my relative tender age. In general my life goals are to make a difference to children and aid child development. I am also passionate about volunteering and was the youngest member at Liverpool lions international, a charity all about helping others no matter what for example some of the things we do are a toy appeal at Christmas providing gifts for children who would otherwise not get any due to poverty, this and other Lions international projects that centre around aiding children are especially close to my heart.
I like to be a little bit different I ride a motorbike which gives me an affordable mode of independence, . My varied interests reflect how I like to encourage different forms of learning which can also be rooted in my dyslexia which many now see as an advantage rather than a hindrance. Some examples of different approaches to learning I use are conversation not coaching in speech development, using the environment to widen understanding and play for physical and social development. All my approaches are natural, caring and sensitive to children.
