Helen, nanny - LL13 Penley

My name is Helen and I am 24 years old.
I feel I am a friendly, caring person with a decent sense of humor. I'm hard working and not afraid to get stuck in!
I have around 10 years experience working with children, my mother was a childminder from the time I was 10 years old and I have assisted her since I was 14, she also became a foster carer when I was 14 and I have and am continuing to support her with the care of the children placed with her.
I am also a foster carer in my own right, I have had my own placements but I am currently support for my mother. I have worked in primary schools, nurseries and home based childcare settings.
I have also volunteered for NSPCC ChildLine, and was trained as a counsellor, I spent two wonderful years there and the experience has taught me many valuable skills, such as empathy, patience and understanding.
In my spare time I love to catch up with friends, spend time with my family, go for walks in the countryside, especially woodland areas and lots of other things.
I am also comfortable around animals.
