Hi my name is kayleighand wiliams I'm 21 years old and I've had experience since I started my childcare diploma in 2011-2013 I've had work experience in two nurseries caring for young babies and toddlers helping prepare bottles with staff members and play and interact with the children. I've had experience in two primary schools with the ages of 3-5 and 6-8 helping the children learn different subjects and helping them with spelling and reading and writing. I've supervised small groups of children in educational activities and helped them to have fun. I've also worked in Germany on a two week work programme for experience through college in a German forestry kindergarten school with 4-5 year olds playing in the forest with clay and wood and making things. When I did qualify I went to university for a year in South Wales to study psychology and counselling but unfortunately it just wasn't right for me. Since then I was on a 6 month contract working 25 hours a week Monday to Friday in a children's day school working with playgroup age and then after school club 4-10 year olds supervising and painting and being creative and cooking cookies and cakes. I've also helped out on walks the children have been on and joined in with their play time. I also helped run a Christmas charity shop through the day nursery speaking to customers and helping keep the shop tidy. As well as working in the children's day school I was once a week helping out in the youth club that is linked with the organisation and was an assistant youth worker helping the children cook healthy dishes and also treats and coming up with different activities and taking part. I enjoy working with children and young people have done since I was younger I find it to be fun and a really good experience and live to see a child be happy and learn new skills and develop their own personalities. I'm trust worthy and reliable and understand how important it is to ensure a child is safe and happy.
