Hi There my name is Chanice and I am very passionate about working with Children. Through my voluntary and academic work I have shown that I am dependable and trustworthy. I am a very honest person. Since i was just 14 years old working with children is all I have ever wanted to do as I loved babysitting my little cousins and brothers. It made me become very independent upon myself. I took the next step it working with Children when I started volunteering in my local youth club for 3 Years working with a range of different age groups between 4-10 years old. Once I had gained all my experience and training i decided that I would try move forward on my journey of working with children and challenge myself abit more. I applied for a Bank support role with the Cedar foundation in June 2015 and was thankfully successful. This included updating all my training and opening myself to a wide variety of different challenges. The Ceder Foundation works with Children aged 4-18 years old who face learning disabilities such as Autism, Epilepsy, Down Syndrome, ADHD and wheelchair users etc. In December 2015 I seen a job description online for a creche assistant and thought I would apply for it as again it was something I had never done before and was an opportunity to build on my experience and challenge myself, i was once again thankfully successful in this interview and Started working in the Creche working with children aged from 6 weeks-8 years old. I finished school in 2013 and continued onto the north west regional college to persue my love for working with children and successfully completed my level 3 diploma in Playwork.
