About Me

Hi, I'm a qualified Early Years Practitioner and am currently looking to offer my services as a live out nanny, taking care of children in the comfort of their home. 

I have a 13 year old boy, and two daughters.

My Experience

I have over 30 years experience of working with the under 8's, as my first employment was straight after I left full time education, and I went into the child care employment with Bradford council.

Since my time with them, I worked in Playgroups, creches, Sure Start Centres and even in a Family Centre before finding a better job, that suited my family's needs, which was in a Nursery School and Children's Centre, taking the job tiltle of a Parental Involvement Worker.

I'm a qualified Nursery Practitioner of more than 20 years experience and a mother to three children of ages 18, 14 and 6. My employment with Bradford Council led to working in a variety of settings such as Playgroups, Children's Centres, and a Nursery School in Bradford, therefore have the necessary experience needed to look after children. I'm a very approachable, motivated, hard working and capable individual, that takes their work very seriously and is not one to let another person down. I am good natured and very patient too. In my spare time, I love to draw and have created many pieces of arts and craft with children, using different textures of materials etc. I enjoy gardening and have engaged with children to encourage them to get their hands dirty to plant seeds and to appreciate the outdoor nature, swimming, listening to music, cooking, going out to the cinema, going on outings, and mainly spending quality time with the family. I would be more than happy to work extra hours if you need to go out of town or stay out late, as I have pure morals. Although these extra hours would not be classed as the daily hours I work, I still would do them (as long I am available) as I feel that I have committed myself to the work I do, and that it is my duty to not let you down.

My Qualifications

As mentioned before, I have over 30 years working in professional jobs, and hold various qualifications such as a BTEC National Diploma in Childcare i.e. A Nursery Nurse Practitioner, an NVQ in Levels 2 and 3 in Childcare, and during my time in employment, attended a number of courses, which helped me to better my services in this line of work.

At the moment, my availability is part-time.
