I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Oxford looking for a wide variety of work in the school holidays. I am outgoing and have superb personal communication skills, and am able to communicate effectively with children of all ages, adapting my skills to suit their character and needs.
I have over 5 years experience working with children in a wide variety of situations, from teaching swimming, to babysitting, working in an orphanage and teaching English in a school. I have worked as a swimming teacher for over 5 years, and am fully qualified, having worked with children ages 3 - 14 regularly. I would therefore would be more than happy to take children swimming as part of my childcare services. I also have a fully clean and valid UK driving license, with access to my own car, and therefore am fully mobile. Alongside swimming, I would be happy to play a variety of sports with children, aiding and coaching them where appropriate, for example, tennis.
In term of school work, I would be delighted to help and tutor children with a variety of tasks, from learning to read or even the alphabet, to more complex GCSE work. I am academically very competent and well rounded, and have experience teaching English and Maths to children aged 4-16, and therefore would be extremely happy, and competent to help children with school work. I am similarly happy to help out with musical or art activities and would find this highly enjoyable. I can play the trumpet to a high level, and the piano to a basic level and am a keen singer, so could be of use with musical needs of varying levels.
I have had experience working with disabled children, including down's syndrome, blind and autistic children, and have dealt competently with challenging behaviour many times. My experience working with such a wide age groups and settings with children makes me extremely adaptable to suit your childcare needs. I am also a good listener and find that children always seem to like me! I would love to care for children of all ages, and I am highly time and situation flexible to work around your needs.

I have had over 5 years of experience working with children in varying situations, and the wide variety of skills I can offer reflect the rates I charge. Alongside being able to care for children's needs extremely adeptly, I can also offer tutoring in many academic needs, for all ages. I am also happy to take children out swimming for example, in which I am fully qualified to teach with an ASA Level 2 Swimming Teaching Certificate. I am also happy to involve myself in musical activities with children, playing instruments myself.
