I have known Helen as a family friend since the mid 90s. I have also employed Helen at my company as Nursery Bank/Staff. I have found Helen to be honest, punctual and reliable. Helen has a great rapport with the children and the parents and always gets 'stuck in' to activities. Helen has a warm, fun and caring personality and is able to work effectively as part of a team, or on her own initiative. Helen understands the needs of children of a variety of ages. She has a sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage, as well as Montessori curriculum. She is currently studying Teacher training and has experience of school placements and planning for the National Curriculum. Helen always has great ideas for new activities. Whilst working with us Helen prepared nutritious meals and snacks for children of a variety of ages. She has a sound understanding of safeguarding, risk assessment and confidentiality. Helen has experience of working in other local Nursery Schools and has also worked as a home-based childminder, managing her own after school care.
