Halima, nanny in Maw green

Hi! My name is Halima and I amust 20. I am currently doing a level 3 diploma in health and social care. To be honest, when I started the course I wanted to get into adult health and social care. I didn't think alot about childcare back them. However, throughout my course I have developed more knowledge about children and have become more fond of them than I ever was. I absolutely love spending time with children. I have many siblings in my family and cousins who I have spent time with and I also have experience with my friends children. I have completed awareness of mental health problems level 2 and dignity and safeguarding in adult health and social care level 2. I also have done OFSTED level 3 paediatric first aid training and floristry through a women's organisation( aaina community hub). I am currently working at this women's organisation as a volunteer. My role as a volunteer includes planning activities and carrying th out with service user's. Teaching ESOL English, interpreting, organising events and themes for any parties there, helping people with jobsearch, orgranise and cary out cooking sessions for the service users supplied. I also do weight checks and give healthy advise to the service users. I am also a board member of IQRA children's institution which is also situated at Aaina community hub.
I am an extremely fun and loving person and relish spending time with children. I am extremely dedicated and have a fun character. I am punctual and reliable, honest and responsible. I love to keep children happy and engaged in different activities that will are very beneficial. Even if it is homework! I like to make it into a game and make it fun for them to learn but have fun at the same time.
