My name is Claire. I live in close proximity to Bedford and am happy to travel for work within a 20 mile radius; I am a car owner and have held a full and clean driving licence since April 1999.

I am qualified to Level 3 in early years and I have fifteen years of experience working in nurseries with children under 5 years old. My most recent positions have been as Nursery Manager. During my career to date I have completed lots of training to compliment and enhance specific knowledge, including health and safety, safeguarding children and first aid essentials. I am subscribed to the DBS update service and can provide numerous certificates.

I am a very calm, nurturing person who is softly spoken. I am patient and responsive to children's needs; I always put children first and adopt a warm and consistent approach to support the children in my care to feel safe and secure.

I am a very organised person who is able to multi-task and staying calm under pressure is a strength.

I am not a stranger to hard work, and helping out with general household duties which benefit the children is not a problem at all. I am a reasonable cook (lasagne, cottage pie and toad in the hole are all more than manageable!) and I hold a current food hygiene certificate.

I am looking for a long-term, full time position and can be flexible with working hours to suit the family's requirements.
