Kimberley, nanny in Morningside

Hi my name is Kimberley . I am 17 years old buy already have plenty of experience in working with children. I have recently finished an HNC in sports coaching at motherwell college, specialising in children. Throughout this course I have worked with children most of the time. On a Monday I ran an after schools club for P3's in Our Lady and St. Francis Primary School, on a Tuesday I would coach a P5 class from 9am-12pm in St. Brendan's Primary School and on a Friday I ran another after schools club for P3's at Morningside Primary. Throughout all this voluntary work I have gained some valuable skills in working with
children. I have developed in my behaviour management and have also learned how to adapt to different kids needs whilst working with them. Through my college course I recently ran a sorts development project within Thornlie Primary. This included coaching different sports to P5, 6&7's then holding a tournament at the end for all the kids. This has helped me because I am now more confident in handling a lot of kids at the one time and it has helped me learn how to motivate the kids by giving feedback and praising the kids. I also used to help out at my dance class with my younger cousin who was diagnosed with Autism a couple of years ago. This was a challenging experience for me but I also learned a lot from it and I loved it very much. The skills I have that has helped me throughout this work includes, loudly spoken so kids can all hear and understand instructions, behaviour management, patience, portraying determination and motivation within the kids.
