Charlotte, nanny in Newcastle upon tyne

I have just moved back to Newcastle after living and teaching in Spain. Whilst there I taught young children English as a Foreign Language and crafted my own activities and lessons. I have nannies and worked with children and young people throughout my career and I am now offering child care with a very flexible schedule. As I have a lot of free time, I am able to tailor my working hours to suit you and can do emergency care or overnight if needs be. I am very comfortable with children of all ages and am able to build a good relationship with them quickly.
Aside from my online and in-person teaching, I have nannies and babysat children full time. I love being around kids and I love to play games, make crafts and use imaginative play. I also can draw on my teaching background for schoolwork.
I have experience working in Seven Stories interactive learning centre and museum (in Newcastle) wherein I led groups of schoolchildren around the interactive galleries, acting out scenes and reading stories. I also have experience with assisting on fun runs, exercise classes and play activities with children as part of a sports initiative for Newcastle City Council. I also led toddler workshops and infant classes, with emphasis on play, and crafting. I am efficient in keeping children busy, with reading, playing or exercise and am very happy to take them sightseeing, to the park or to clubs.
