Heather, nanny - NG5 Arnold

Hi there!
I have worked within the childcare industry since I was 16 years old starting out in a primary after school club. During the day I volunteered as a teaching assistant at an infant school which is where I started to pick up some knowledge on the EYFS. I then moved on from there to work full time at a village pre school where I completed my level 3 in childcare and after this, was promoted to deputy manager. I thoroughly enjoyed this but after 3 years I got offered a job in a nursery and thought I would go for it as then I have worked with all ages from newborn to 11 years. Whilst working here I attended over 15 short courses and have exstensively built up my knowledge and experience within childcare. Only recently I left the nursery as a parent invited me to look after their children full time which is the best job I’ve had! Unfortunately that didn’t work out due to family circumstances so now I am looking for another family to join and have fun!
