Lucy, nanny - NN1 Northampton

My name is Lucy and I'm 29 years old.
I have a degree in Paramedic Science but left this area of work when I had my son Joshua who is now 5 years old.
I also have a levels in Health and Social Care which involved completing voluntary work at a local primary school where I assisted children within groups and 1:1 formal teaching sessions, as well as more interactive fun games.
I also have a qualification in Community Sports Leadership which involved teaching physical education to children between the ages 4-8 which I thouroughly enjoyed.
I have completed multiple courses for my current job role as a rehabilitation practitioner including basic life support, food hygiene level 3 and infection control to name a few. I have also completed courses in the Safe handling and administraion of medication so am happy to provide basic medical care when required and administer medications.
I am currently working in rehabilitation which is very much geared to learning or re-learning how to do things which is very helpful when looking after children.
I love working with younger children in particular and have an incredible passion to help create a caring and supportive environment for children. I love helping them learn through play and think that an active lifestyle and creative play is vital to a childs development.
I am a very bubbly, friendly outgoing person and love the enjoyment I get from childcare. I regularly care for my one year old neice as well as having my own son and know how important it is to choice the right person for you and your child. Particularly knowing how danuting leaving them can be.
I would be happy to do school pick ups, before/after school care.
Day time or evening care for younger children who are not at school and evening and weekends with notice given.
