Hannah, nanny - OX8 Eynsham

Basically, I love children! I am a fully qualified primary school teacher and have been in this profession for 10 years, working mainly with children from ages 3-6 (reception and year 1). I currently work as an Infant class teacher at a Bilingual school in Barcelona, where I have been teaching Spanish/Catalan children English through immersion. As well as extensive experience working in Early Years settings, I have spent time doing supply work and on teaching placements, with children aged up to 10.
Since I was in my teens I have provided babysitting and child minding for the children of friends, friends of friends and to my 2 energetic nieces (1 and 2.5 years old). This has included experience with newborns.
I worked as a short-term "cover" nanny for 2 weeks in 2012, caring for 2 boys aged 1 and 4.
During the school holidays, whilst living in London, I used to work at "Arty Party", providing supporting and leading art workshops for children aged 4-12.
I am energetic, fun and generally a very happy person. I have a great passion for the outdoors and sports, yet also creative, artistic and musical (play piano and ukulele).
I have been living in Barcelona for the last 4 years, where I have embraced the Spanish and Catalan cultures, and have enjoyed learning Spanish.
I am passionate about child development and education and whether it be in a school or home/play environment, I always seek to create nurturing and inspiring environments for children in my care, whilst also encouraging and guiding their independence.
