Alicia, nanny in Oxford OX1

I have just graduated the University of Oxford, with a Bachelor's degree in music. I conducted my research in a school that I previously volunteered in, working with children with Special Educational Needs.
My childcare experience also includes babysitting two boys between 7 and 11 for 2 years. Here, I prepared meals and put them to bed, as well as helping with homework and musical instrument practice. I also tutored two other young boys maths, one of whom I assisted in access for help with dyscalculia and sensory needs that were not previously recognised. My first job with children was teaching a young child the violin 7 years ago.
I am passionate about child development, and I am continuing to study Psychology for my post-graduate degree, with a focus on child psychology. A job in childcare would be a wonderful opportunity to create an engaging and safe environment for children, and I have loved my previous jobs in a similar area!
