Shannan, nanny in Pelton DH2

Hi, my name is Shannan and I am 23 Years old. I have recently Qualified as a CACHE level 3 Teaching assistant, and completed my Level 2 before that. I have 2 years experience working with in schools and have worked with children from the Early Years upto Year 6.
I have recently Applied at universities to become a qualified teacher, therefore I am looking for part to full time work as I study.
I come from a very large family and have many younger cousins, nieces and nephews, all of which I have played a part in their growing up, from baby sitting, schools runs, nappy changing, feeding, attending health appointments and so on.
I feel that my relationship with them has allowed me to develop a natural way with children and as a result find it easy to build relationships of which I respect them and in return they respect me.
I am very placid, patient and caring, hence my decision to follow a career in working with children.
I am happy help with any chores that you may need assistance with, for example any house work etc. Also being an animal lover, I am very comfortable with family pets, and if necessary I wouldn't mind being involved with them also.
I will admit that I am not the best of chefs! However I am capable of preparing light snacks, sandwiches, pasta, fruit salads and the like.
Having worked in schools, and having all my GCSE's I am also a great help with homework too, and I am a huge fan of learning whilst playing. I love to see children laugh, and like seeing children being happy and having fun, whilst ensuring they are safe and aware of dangers around them. I have a CRB certificate and I am also paediatric first Aid trained.
As whole, I am a genuine, honest and reliable person.
