Abigail, nanny - PO10 Southbourne

My name's Abigail and I'm 18 years old, I have just finished my level 3 diploma in early education at Chichester college. Throughout my two years at college I have gained over 2 years experience in 4 different settings, two were at schools and the other two were in nurseries. So overall I have gained a lot of experience working with children aged 6 months to 6 years. I'm. Enthusiastic, fun, caring practitioner who loves to plan my own activities and do them with the children. I have just completed my first aid and food safety course and am now fully qualified. I have recently come back from a volunteering trip in kenya where I worked in a school, as part of this trip I taught a class of 70 alongside a friend, due to the limited resources out there we had to create lessons plans using imagination and creativity. This trip has helped me become more confident in my abilities to help children learn and teach. I have also had a job as a nanny for a family of 5 for a few months, as part of this job i had to pick the children up from school and take them to any clubs they had, I also cooked dinner and did light housekeeping in any spare time I had. I also currently have a nannying job looking free two children aged 4 and 2, with this job i drop them off and pick them up from school or nursery, make them dinner, help with homework and then play with them till the parents are home.
