Lauren, home childcare - PR5 Clayton-le-woods

My name is Lauren and I love working with children. In the future I aspire to be a primary school teacher so feel I would be great at looking after your children. As I want to become a teacher, studying has been an important part of my life for a number of years and I feel like this is a good asset to have as I can help your child with their homework if it is needed. Although I am still young, I feel this will be a benefit as I can relate to your children and be good company for them whilst also taking care of them.

I have had experience in looking after children for quite a number of years. I volunteered at a local Rainbow Guide unit where I had to care for children aged 5-7. As well as that, I have also worked in a few nurseries looking after children from the ages of 6 months - 4 years old. I have also had experience in babysitting family members.

As part of my duties at the Rainbow's I had to give the children activities to do to make their night fun. I feel this experience will be beneficial as I already know how to use games and activities to entertain young children.
