Nataleigh, nanny in Purley

Hello, my name is Nataleigh. I'm 21 years old and I'm from a little place called Stirling in Scotland. I moved down to London once I finished school at the age of 18 to pursue a job in childcare as this is where my passion lies. I have been looking after children since the age of 14 whether it was babysitting for family friends to looking after my little brother.

I have always been inspired by the development of children and I don't get a better feeling than helping a child/children learn and the enjoyment they get from everyday activities.

I'm ideally looking for a full time role, with sole charge and living out but I'm always available for part time work if the role is right for me.

I believe as a childcarer I have a large skill set that help me with my day to day activities which go beyond the job of just childcarer. First of all I have a love for children which I think is essential, I'm enthusiastic about my job which will bring the best out of your children and keep them happy throughout my care. I believe I am fun which allows the child to relax more around me meaning I can build a stronger relationship, I also have a more serious side to me which loving and nurturing and being able to connect on a more emotional level. I have common sense so I can handle surprise situations along with prepare for everyday situations such as food making and health and safety. I can communicate to both adults and children which is a positive quality I have. I believe I'm also very punctual, reliable, flexible and trustworthy. Not only do I hold these qualities but I'm very good around the house, I love to cook a variety of food so the children will always have different types and ranges of dinner. I have OCD so the house is always clean and house duties are taken care of.

I love watching children interact and learn so a large part of my activity plans are around this aspect so I encourage the children to participate in play groups around the local area, day trips to places like the zoo, museums and the aquarium, time at the library, educational games arounds shapes, colours, numbers and the alphabet, imaginary play and so on. Not only are these aspects covered but other activities like going to the park, play dates with other children of the same age, arts and crafts and messy play are also included within the activity plan. All activities are based around the age of the child.
