Julie, nanny in Renfrew PA4

My names Julie I'm 19 I am out of work at the moment. completed my modern apprentice in childcare which started in June of 2013 and I continued to work in A Nursery till November 2015. During my time at The nursery I developed self-confidence and responsibility, also I have covered for the nursery cook during annual leave or sickness which has given me the experience of setting menus and experience of cooking for a large number for children. My main duties were looking after children aged 6 weeks to 5 years ensuring a safe and settled environment. I was for approximately 1 year responsible for the room where the 6 weeks to 1 year old children were. I ensured that they were fed and cared for while planning activities for them. I also worked in the other rooms caring for the children and I have also worked privately for some of the parents out with nursery hours. I ensured that I always worked in line with the Curriculum of Excellence and ensuring that the children’s folders were always up to date.
