I am 57 years of age with a calm and caring methodical approach to looking after children. I enjoy ensuring fun is incorporated where possible when with children in my care. I give encouragement to improve self esteem and confidence at any task a child may tackle. Happy to muddle about in the garden, read stories to promote imagination or bake for a teddy bears picnic is all par for the course to bring happiness to a child. I enjoy face painting (experience gained while working with children's services) singing and playing games using what is available. I am a warranted guider (approximately 25 years) for the local rainbow unit, 5-6 year old girls and assistant guider for the local brownie unit, 7-10 year old girls. I also help at in the local youth club P4-P7 and in my last employment was involved with different aspects of youth programmes within the parish which inevitably spilled over into the local primary school.
