Ida, nanny in Shirley CR0

Hi!

My name is Ida and I am 22 years old. I am originally from Gothenburg, Sweden but have relocated to London, UK since I started studying here. I am now finished and looking for jobs so I can support myself.

I have always loved taking care of people and I see myself as a caring and sensible person. I have worked at a preschool for 9 months and that taught me a lot about how to take care of kids and I always found myself happy at my work. The joy the kids bring you is so rewarding and it makes you feel joy knowing you are a part of the child’s development.
We did a lot of word exercises like repeating each day of the week and associating the first letter with a fruit or any fun thing that started with the same letter. We also sang songs about the weather and each month. They always found those songs the most fun!

I have also experience in elder care where I did everything from giving the elders their medication, handling their hygiene, taking them on walks and simple stuff as having lunch with them. But it is the simple things that can change their day into a positive one.

I am a responsible and social person that happily on challenges and learn from them. I am a trustworthy person with a big passion for taking care of others. I hope I can be a good fit for any family that seeks my help. :)
