I am eighteen years old and I am almost at the end of a two year child care course. I have experience caring for children from the age of 5 months up to 8 years old.
As part of my course I have gained 800 hours work experience at four different settings, these were a playgroup with children aged 2-4, a primary school in year one, a nursery with children aged 5 months- 4 years, and a special needs school with children aged 5-8.
I am able to create good relationships with the children that I care for and really do enjoy seeing children develop and learn.
At each of my work placements I have planned and carried out many different play and learning activities and I am very familiar with the Early Years Foundation Stage, the National Curriculum and the P Scales.
