Maternity Leave September 2016 – Present
I have been on Maternity Leave since September 2016. I am now looking to return to work so I am able to care for another child alongside my own and utilise my skills and expertise.

Private Nanny - Winchester
May 2013 - September 2016 (Maternity Leave/Redundancy)
Caring for a child from the age of 3-6. (Monday –Friday - 7am to 9am then 3.30pm to 7.30pm)

I have been working as a Private Nanny for a professional family in Winchester where I have been providing all aspects of care for a young child from the age of 3. My daily duties consist of getting the child up and ready for school, preparing morning and evening meals and taking/collecting the child from school. I cared for all the child’s needs including washing clothes, keeping his bedroom clean and tidy and more. If the child was poorly, I would collect him from school and ensure that he has everything he needs to get better.
Alongside taking care of the child’s personal needs, I ensured that there were lots of fun activities to do. These include swimming, painting, reading, drawing, baking, going to the farm and the zoo.
I would always ensure that the child was happy and healthy at all times.
The child had mild learning disabilities and a speech and language disorder of which we were able to significantly improve with dedicated learning and practice.
I currently have a Level 1 and 2 in Childcare, a Paediatric First Aid Qualification and I am Ofsted registered.

Child Minders Assistant - Eastleigh
May 2011 – May 2013

I worked as a Child Minders Assistant for 2 years where my duties consisted of; completing learning journals, observations, record keeping, planning activities, cooking, creative works, swimming and also working with the children on their Early Years Foundation Stage.
While I worked as a Childminder my main care group was new born to 2 year olds, often having 4 children under the age of 4 together. This would include changing, feeding, making and preparing bottles, putting the children down for naps, settling them, stories, playing, bathing and all aspects of general care.
I would prepare food and snacks for the children during the day and if a child was injured for any reason I would use my Paediatric First Aid skills to assess the situation and act accordingly.

• Serving the staff and pupils at meal times (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
• Assisting in the kitchens and the washroom
• Use of appropriate machinery and chemicals following training
• Use of appropriate safety signs for all cleaning tasks
