I am a mature and responsible 23 year old female who is very passionate about working with children and has been from a very young age, I think that I have a natural ability to connect with children. I have a full DBS, first aid qualified, CACHE level 3 qualification and my own car and clean driving license.
I have 6 years childcare experience in which I have had the opportunity to take on different roles and positions within childcare.
I started off in a private daycare setting working with children ranging from 6 weeks upto 4 years old, I also took on a one to one role in the same setting working with an amazing little boy with additional needs. I have done a summer season working abroad in a Mark Warner hotel as a nanny where I worked with babies from 4 weeks right upto the age of 14. During the last almost 5 years I have been a part time sole charge nanny on evenings and weekends (often overnight stays) for 3 little boys aged 7 and twins of almost 5 years, this role has been a huge part of my life as I started when the twins were first born and have gained so much from this experience, watching the boys grow and flourish into the delightful young boys that they are now whilst having lots of fun and adventures along the way has really help shape me as a childcarer. Aswell as this role I have worked full time as a teaching assistant in a school for the previous 3 years.
I am fun loving and adventurous, I enjoy the outdoors and creative activities aswell as reading, baking and cooking. I enjoy being active and just as I like to learn through experiences and being hands on I try to make the time I spend with children as enjoyable as possible by planning a range of activuties and day trips.I always ensure that the child/children in my care are given the best possible care having their individual needs met in a nurturing way and ensuring their happiness and safety is paramount.
