I am a 42 years old (female), OFSTED REGISTERED, and have 26 years experience in both nannying and nursery nursing.

I need to work about 36 hours a week but am happy to do a nanny share for less hours so long as the wages balance out the same.

I am OFSTED registered and have my current DBS, Paediatric First Aid and am always expanding my training through courses.
I am currently employed as a nanny but sadly my job ends in March 2017 (due to their unexpected relocation).

Although I have worked in day nurseries over the years, my passion is nannying! I prefer working with a small group or individual children as I feel I can focus on their development and individual needs to a higher extent than is possible when working in a nursery with a lot of children. I have dedicated my life to providing the highest level of care to children. For me it's like a vocation. I really couldn't work in any other career.

I am reliable, creative, fun, have great rapport with children, am able to provide safe boundaries and most importantly I treat children with respect. I believe as a nanny I am an extension of your family and treat your children as if they were my nieces or nephews.

I have a full working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage which is the development criteria set out by OFSTED for children under the age of 8. I have a very clear understanding of children's needs. I love nannying, especially with younger children during the day such as going to playgroups and other fun places for social interaction, baking, painting and other creative things, music and movement fun, providing all the benefits your child would receive at nursery but with individualised care, and then school holidays with all ages. Finding fun (cheap or free) interesting things to do and "adventures" to have! I believe my job is support and provide what children need to help them open their eyes to the wonder of the world!

I am married with 2 step daughters (13 and 21 yrs old).

My hobbies include caring for a large variety of animals. We have 4 cats, 3 rabbits, 2 Guinea pigs, marine fish. Harry the tortoise and Kevin the Crested gecko. Visiting my house is like a free trip to the zoo :-)
I spend time on weekends either with my god daughter who is 8 as well as my step daughters and caring for our animals.

And sometimes visiting my family in Lincoln and having adventures with my nephew (13 /autistic), my niece (11), my youngest nephew who is almost 3 and my new baby's niece who is 3 months.

I am a driver with a clean driving record, my own car with business insurance, non smoker, presentable and flexible to your needs.

MY EXPERIENCE
26 years experience as a Nanny/Preschool teacher/Nursery Nurse

I am from South Africa and have worked with AIDS orphans there, as well as a nursery nurse. I nannied in America for 8 years (mostly with children with additional needs) and have now been working as either a nanny or nursery nurse for the past 15 years locally

MY QUALIFICATIONS
I am a qualified Montessori teacher (South Africa), a Child Day Care Manager (equivalent to NVQ 6) (America) and have my NVQ 3 in Early years care and education from this country. I am currently studying a few courses in my own time to do with various aspects of children's care and development. (And one course on feline psychology because I really am a crazy cat lady :-) !!)

MY AVAILABILITY
I require about 36 hours a week (or less if it's a nanny share position)
I am confident, experienced and happy to do overnight when required.
I would ideally like to start before the of March as that's when my current employers relocate down South.

My FEES
£10 - £15 an hour
Willing to discuss a weekly/monthly salary
Request my contract to include paid holiday time but willing to work with what suits you as per when I take my holidays.

Ashley came to join our family last July (2016), she is in sole charge of my two boys from 7am to 7pm three days a week. Ash gets them up, drops son number one at the school, cares for son number two throughout the day and then collects eldest, feeds them both and gets them into bed. Everything I would do if I were not at work. Ash is great fun, really committed, deals with the teething, bugs, tantrums in my absence. Ash has NEVER let me down, not once. She is also pretty flexible and tries to accommodate any changes you may need to make. You can tell that she loves children, which is why I employed in the first instance. My boys love her and they have a great bond. She is great at organising activities and has Harry, her secret weapon, to get things going in the first instance (he's a tortoise). She is hugely knowledgeable about EY learning and no doubt can add value here. Due to a massive change of plans we are relocating down south, if she were single I would be taking her with me. I would not hesitate to recommend this very special lady.

This lady is an absolute star. She loves each individual child as if it were her own. She looked after my 5 year old son in Nursary and he absolutely adores her still! I cannot recommend this lady enough. She's wonderful and such a loving, kind person.

I highly recommend Ashley as a Nanny and babysitter. Any family would be lucky to have her! She started looking after my daughter when she was 2 years old in a day nursery. Ashley then started babysitting on a regular basis and we have now known her for over 6 years. She has consistently been an amazing carer and friend to our daughter. Ashley often has her overnight and they are always doing interesting and fun activities together. My daughter constantly asks to see Ashley and loves her dearly and as a parent that is an important factor when choosing someone to care for our child! Ashley is qualified and always learning more about how to best care for children. She is reliable and we trust her completely. We cannot praise her enough. Don't let this great nanny slip through your fingers!!!
