Gabriella, nanny in Stoke gabriel

I am a 21 year old loving, fun and caring student currently studying BEd Primary Education at the University of St. Mark and St. Johns in Plymouth. I have just finished my first year of which I spent January to April in placement for 3 days a week and then the final month and a half of the year I spent in placement full time, teaching every day and being left in charge of a class of 28, children regularly. I was located in a lovely school where I was able to build relationships with both the staff and the children that have given me a wide range of different experiences. I absolutely can not wait to be a qualified teacher in 2 years time so that I can start making a difference to not only children's education but also their lives. Before going to University I was regularly babysitting for many different families any of which will be willing to give a reference for me, the ages of the children I have cared for range from 6 months to 15 years. I come from a large and very close family, I am the eldest child which has given me many experiences looking after my sister who is now 12 and my many cousins ages currently ranging from 1-16 years. I have always had a passion for working with children which is why I have taken the career path that I have, I have had many other experiences of working with children such as volunteering in a local nursery and also a primary school, teaching children to horse ride in the South Devon West Pony club and also helping out at holiday clubs.
