Ffion, nanny in Stroud green GL10

My name is Ffion and I currently work as a nanny in Stroud, caring for a 15 month old child whom I have looked after for 8 months. The family are moving away in January 2017 so I am looking for a full time nanny position (but would consider part-time) starting then.
In January I returned from 6 months of travelling around the world, before travelling I worked in a nursery for 15 months providing care for children from birth to the age of five. I also provide daytime and evening childcare for friends and people in the local area, looking after children ranging in age from 2 months to 15 years.
While working at the nursery I obtained my Level 3 Children's Care Learning and Development, I have also completed a ‘Safeguarding and Protecting Children’ course (July 2012) and I completed my Cross Infection Procedures and Dental Health Education by Designed to Smile (June 2014). I was awarded my Level 2 in Food Safety in Catering by the Environmental Health (July 2014) and I completed my Paediatric First Aid Qualification in November 2014. I currently attend a Makaton signing group once a week.
I really enjoy the outdoors and graduated in July 2013 with a 2:1 in Outdoor Adventure from University of St Mark and St John, Plymouth. Throughout my degree my focus was on children and their engagement with the outdoors, so when possible I volunteered with local primary schools helping out with Forest School sessions, and in my third year I completed my dissertation entitled “Are there potential life long benefits of participating in Forest School programmes for primary school aged children?”.
I passed my driving test in February 2009 and I have my own car and a clean licence. I have completed my Bronze, Silver and Gold Duke of Edinburgh awards. Whilst at school I achieved my Junior Sports Leadership Award, and my Dragon Sports training, meaning I am able to teach sporting activities to primary school children. I have worked with year 5 and 6 coaching netball at Narberth Primary School, along with lifesaving for children aged 6 to 15 and swimming lessons for children aged 3 to 5. I am also a Welsh speaker.
