Hello I'm Mel. I am 23 and have a BTEC level 3 diploma in Children's, Care, Learning and Development. Also I am paediatric first aid trained.
I am a friendly, caring and patient individual. I have a passion for caring, nurturing and helping children learn and develop. I enjoy outdoor activities, cooking, arts and craft and messy play. I believe in a firm but fair approach, it is however important for children to have boundaries.
I am currently looking for a new challenge and to gain different experiences, I believe nannying will provide me with this. I am very reliable and can be flexible.
I am excited to begin this new adventure and chapter of my life!
I have worked at a nursery in a local private school for 3 years, working with 3 and 4 year olds. I have experience with older children through the early morning club after school club I do. However also have experience with younger children as I have two nephews age 20 months and 5 years.
Prior to this I have completed various placements through my college course working with; babies (0-2 years), nursery age and also reception - year 2.
I also currently babysit for different families with children age 4-13 years.
