Lauren, nanny - SY13 Marbury

Hello, I am Lauren and I am a 19 year old childcare professional currently employed within an Ofsted rated outstanding nursery, breakfast club and out of school care setting. I gained 5 GCSE certificates grades A*-C at secondary school level, I then went on to study from home and gained a level 3 certificate in Child Psychilogy, I consider myself to be a very bubbly and fun person who is very determined to learn and be the best that I can. I pride myself on organisation and paying attention to detail and involve and dedicate myself 100% to my practice. I provide fun, engaging and stimulating activities for all ages which also link to many areas of learning at the same time. In addition to this I also have a current CRB/DBS check and I am a current Paediatric First Aider. As previously stated I am currently employed within an Ofsted rated outstanding nursery, breakfast club and out of school care setting;meaning I have experience, endless ideas and knowledge with all ages and all types of play and learning. My position within my current work setting is a senior practitioner, I also manage one of their out of school care setting which involves buying the food to provide nutritious and balanced meals for the children, ensuring the setting, resources and equipment are refreshed, planning fun but also stimulating and educational activities for children and also tracking their progress in accordance with The Early Years Foundation Stage.
