Caitlin, nanny in Tendring

Hi I’m Caitlin and I’m a 20 year old who’s been interested in childcare since I started studying it back when I was in school. I began studying child development at secondary school and received my level 2 qualification at the end of the school year in 2016. Feeling confident that childcare was the path I wanted to take I went on to complete my level 3 childcare & education in college from 2016-18. During my studying we had to do a set amount of hours working in a nursery. I loved it so much that during my first year there as a student they offered me agency for the weeks I was there and also every half term. Then when I completed my course in college I was offered a full time job straight away and enjoyed every day there. I then moved from London to clacton on sea and started working as cover in another nursery. However as term has finished I am no longer working there. I’ve decided to try something new, nannying instead of working in a private nursery. I’m a keen to develop my skills and the things I’ve learnt through experience have helped shape me into the early years practitioner I am today!
