Jane, nanny - TN15 Borough green

I have had 11 year’s experience working in a primary school, I have worked in a mixed year group of Yrs 1 and 2 aged between 4-7, but have also covered all year groups throughout the school.
Taking care of young children is rewarding but sometimes challenging and is something I have come to enjoy with a passion. I love children and enjoy their company immensely and find nothing is more rewarding than taking care of them. I believe in creating a positive and happy environment for children, one in which they feel protected and can thrive.
I have excellent organisational and communication skills which I feel is vital in caring for children.
In addition to my work at the school I work as a part-time babysitter for two families. This involves picking children up from school, driving them to after school clubs, preparing their tea, doing homework with them and preparing them for bed. I also look after a colleagues young baby. I have done this since he has been 2 months, he is currently 7 months, and am very confident and able with young babies
My 11 years of experience working with children, I feel make me a good candidate for this position. I do not mind doing household chores, and in fact do this when I do babysitting for one of my families. I am happy to do whatever days or times you require.
I have been DBS checked and have held a full clean driving licence for 30 years.
I also have two children of my own aged 16 and 21 years and a Cavachon dog!
