Leonie, nanny - TN22 Uckfield

My name is Leonie, I am 19 and I am currently waiting to restart at the University of Sussex in September to study Neuroscience. Until December, I was a first year Maths students there but have decided that the course wasn't for me.

I would like to find a regular childcare job (not from my home as I am not OFSTED registered) with the possibility of continuing next year as I will remain local. I have always enjoyed working with children and aim to become a teacher in the future. I am CRB checked, first aid trained, have ASD awareness training and years of exprerience. I believe I am good with children as I have large amounts of patience, good communication skills and am friendly and fair whilst not being afraid to enforce rules.

I am open to any childcare job role and have experience tutoring at KS2 and GCSE. I have also worked with children with SEND and ASD. Both of these jobs have led to me developing the ability to make any task or school subjecting interesting through use of games, posters, competitions and real world examples. I have copies of some of my past students work available on request.
