Molly, nanny - TN3 Lamberhurst quarter

I first started working with children in a crèche whilst I was still in education at Michael Hall Steiner School at the age of 15. It was here that I developed my love for children.

I continued with babysitting & childcare (part time) as this is something I really enjoy. I find interacting with babies and toddlers, although at times challenging, very rewarding. I have worked with children on an individual basis and also in group activities.

In 2013, I worked as a full time nanny for a family in Tunbridge Wells. I was responsible for the care of the 2 children ages 5 & 7 plus the family dog.
This included preparing meals, doing the school runs, taking the children to activities and assisting with homework. I also had time to play and do fun projects with the children at home. I really enjoyed my time with the children and very much felt part of their family unit.

I then decided to go travelling as I wanted to explore some of the world, and also to work in different environments. I was fortunate in being able to gain a position as a volunteer working with a variety of children’s groups – ages ranging from 6 months to 10 years. This was invaluable in teaching me to interact confidently with children from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures.

I am now looking to further my experience in childcare as this is a path I find most rewarding.
