Katie, nanny - TQ2 Torquay

I am 18 years old, and I am one of 6. I have always adored children and love taking care of them. I also love to help them develop in learning new things. When my sisters were a bit younger, I used to babysit for them and I really enjoyed that. For work experience I chose to work in a nursery for 2 weeks and it was most amazing experience. I worked with 1-4 year olds and I made some real connections with the children, I read them stories and even helped some of the older children read. I also joined in with play time and tried entertaining the children. I am also a very creative individual and I try use this to entertain children and help them be creative in the way they approach learning.
I would really love to work with children of any age, because I love helping them learn, keep safe and most importantly l love seeing them happy.
