Lauren, nanny - TQ2 Torquay

My name is Lauren and I am currently caring for 4 brothers, 3, 5, 9 and 11 years old. My contract is due to expire in September due to the youngest starting full time education, therefore I am seeking employment with a new family.

I am a reliable, caring and committed Nanny with a nurturing personality. I am highly driven to develop children's learning and development and I am passionate about supporting children emotionally, physically and mentally whilst creating a happy, safe and stimulating atmosphere to ensure every child's unique needs are met. I am strongly committed to promoting the welfare of children as well as following parents requirements to high expectations.

During my experience as a Nursery Practitioner and a Nanny, I have gained essential knowledge, skills and training as well as having the exciting opportunity to care for children aged 0-12. I have worked alongside children with Special Educational Needs, challenging behaviour and learning barriers. I am able to work well and empathise with parents to ensure their children receive the best support in reaching their full potential.

I am passionate about recognising, encouraging and praising children's positive milestones but I can also work through challenging, difficult and testing times using a gentle but firm approach ensuring I fall within the appropriate boundaries.
