I am a recent university graduate and I would love the chance to work with children. The work experience placement I had while I was at school was as a teaching assistant in a year three class. I really enjoyed supporting the teacher and the chances to get to know the children one to one and in small groups.
My degree study, which included topics on child language development and communication disorders, has given me a passionate ambition to go on to train as a speech and language therapist. I want to have a good deal of experience working with children, particularly helping with their learning and development. I'm an empathetic and imaginative person with plenty of organisational skills developed from my time at university, and I would love to use these personal attributes to provide quality care for children.
