Ruth, nanny - TS12 Brotton

Hello! My name is Ruth and I am 25 years old. I have worked for Neilson Active Holidays for the last four years and I have recently returned from Greece where I was employed as a Guest Service Manager of a large resort. I first joined the company as a nanny in Turkey and then moved onto Italy and Greece working as a nanny and windsurf instructor. Most recently I was promoted to Guest Service Manager in Greece, however on returning to the UK I am now looking to get back into childcare; something that I love!

My childcare experience spans over several years and has covered ages from 6 months to 17 years old. I have a passion for life and love providing exceptional childcare that stimulates and motivates children of all ages.

My experience of childcare has taken place in different countries and varying environments. I always ensure that I create a clean and safe environment geared towards promoting development. I am organised and know that a fun-filled daily schedule with a full range of learning activities, including singing, dancing, reading, drawing/colouring and stimulating games is vitally important. During my time as a nanny for Neilson Active holidays we had children in our care from 9am until 11pm. In that time we covered endless amounts of wonderful activities whilst ensuring we kept to mealtime and naptime routines. I specialised in teaching children as young as 4 to sail and windsurf and loved every minute!

Every child has a unique personality and disposition and because of this every child needs to be cared for in varying ways. This requires a unique child carer, like myself, who has the experience and knowledge to create wonderful memories for your child. I am vibrant and have a passion for life. I love the outdoors, baking, cooking and water sports! I will not only endeavour to provide exceptional care for your child and keep them happy in your absence, but to also go above and beyond to encourage your child to develop and grow into a beautiful person who surprises you every day!
