I do not know what the rates are as I have not done this kind of work here in the U.K. I have worked in an after school environment for 6 years and have also been approached by parents to do private child minding in South Africa. I am doing Volunteer work with a four year old at the moment for a friend and would like to work towards obtaining my level 2/3 certificate in child care.
